I have started the video from week two, because I have been doing this for a little over two weeks now, and have lost 5 pounds. I'm currently 130, but I was 135
Yep, I know. Not the most attractive thing to look at, at the moment... but that'll change.
Here is the plan I am fallowing in order to lose weight:
1)Basically NO SUGAR. Yep. No junk or anything containing added sugar, that means NO CANDY. Fruits are definitely allowed because they are natural and nutrient-dense! Whole wheat bread is aloud, seeing as it has sugar, NOT A LOT OF IT.
2)Only whole wheat bread allowed, with proportions. (home made, that is to ensure that I don't get unnecessary chemicals in my food)
3) NOTHING containing artificial sweeteners. That means no diet soda, no splenda, no low cal/low fat/fat free crap. NONE OF IT. It all contains CHEMICALS and artificial sweeteners are BAD FOR YOU. DO NOT be fooled by the convincing packaging labels that claim they'll help you to lose weight. IT'S ALL LIES! (I'm awfully passionate about this.. hehe)
4)Cook all meals yourself. Can't cook? LEARN. Frozen dinners and fast food contain CHEMICALS and PRESERVATIVES, as well as PROCESSED FATS.. and you know what they do to you? They make you fatter.
5)If in need of a snack, eat vegetables or fruits, wash it down with a cup of green tea or water.
6)Green tea green tea green tea! No, it won't burn fat for you.. but it will cleans your body of toxins that prevent you from burning fat, as well as make you feel healthier/better over all.
7)At least 20 minutes of cardio a day (5 or 6 days a week) fallowed by resistance training.
8)Stick to natural whole foods and no packaged crap because it's loaded with chemicals and preservatives. Natural things found in NATURE is what is the healthiest for you and what will truly help you lose weight, not a diet granola bar that claims to be fitness food.
9) Read the ingredient list on the back of all food packaging. AVOID anything with modified chemicals in it. It is UNNATURAL.
10)Glass of water before each meal.
11) NO starving.
12) NO skipping meals.
13)Avoid salad dressings, make your own.
14) Do not worry about timing. Do not be in a rush to lose 6 pounds a week. The most anyone should ever lose a week is 2 pounds, THE HEALTHY WAY. That way, it'll STAY off and won't screw up your metabolism.
To someone who has been eating bad, this may seem strict. I'm getting used to it and I'm doing pretty good sticking to it. Let me tell you, I feel so much better.
Another thing, Once I get to my goal weight, I will not be going back to my old eating ways. Don't get me wrong, I barely ever ate fast food. I just ate shitloads of bread and sweets and things like that. But that is not good. Natural, healthy, home-cooked food is far better for you than some frozen dinner. More to come. =)
