What Is The Current Weight Loss Miracle?

More than half of the American population is overweight and the problem seems to be getting worse every year. Obesity is even trickling down to our kids; there are more children who are overweight than ever before. Most of us know that in order for us to lose weight we have to reduce the number of calories we take in and/ or increase the number of calories we burn off. Our bodies will use food we consume as energy, but the food that isn't used is stored as fat. If you increased the amount of omega- 3's in your diet and decreased your intake of pro-inflammatory high-glycemic carbohydrates (starches and sugars) and also saturated fats (found in meats, fried foods etc.) Then as a result, unwanted weight would eventually start to fall off.
